The effect of diabetes on fingerprints was news to me. I checked the fingers of an elderly person who has been diabetic since 1970 and found that the prints are just fine. Does it mean it varies from person to person?

Well the statement of missing fingerprints sounds somewhat correct. Diabetes and manual work does weaken the impression of fingerprints to be accurately captured by biometric scanner.

Time has come to adopt for the new Iris spectrometry for perfect identification system!!
