About this blog

This blog was started on 21st September 2009 by Dr.Vanitha Vaidialingam.  She writes under the pen name Samantha.  The blog is a platform for expressing and sharing her views on a number of topics that strike her as interesting and worthy of contemplation with any reader who may be similarly interested.

Dr.Vanitha Vaidialingam, PhD, IRS (Retd), is a Doctorate in English Literature and a retired member of the Indian Revenue Service (1984 batch). She took voluntary retirement from service in 2007, with an intention to pursue literature and also work with technology in the ways that interest her. Currently, she is a technology and content management consultant and has clientele in India, United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Russia and some of the other European nations.

She also partners on a number of elearning initiatives and helps set up content for elearning at the specific request of clients.  She has a content eshop at http://www.consult4content.com.  In this site she sells original quality content outright to websites with copyright for use on their websites. She also takes orders for custom content. The site also showcases ebooks written by her and other authors and these books are available for purchase and download–online.

She is also putting together an encyclopaediac site at http://www.homemakersalmanac.com.  This site still under construction but already features a number of interesting articles for householders and the different member of the family.

Dr.Vanitha Vaidialingam appreciates the patronage and encouragement given to her by the readers of her blog and she hopes to share with them any information of interest that comes her way.
